To get to Creel, you can take the road from the city of Chihuahua and travel the 260 km distance in a trip of approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes by car.

Is Hacienda de Don Armando an ideal lodging option for you?
The hotel is a small place with few rooms next to each other. Throughout that week there will be movement and preparations for the event, there may be some noise and there will not be great privacy due to the constant entry and exit of vendors. In addition, the party will take place in the central courtyard through which you can access all the rooms to which all the sound will reach.
Hacienda is ideal for you if:
- You want to be as close as possible to the bride and groom and the entire event.
- You have no problem with noise, little privacy or because the party lasts until late at night.
- You can organize yourself and share lodging to fully occupy a room for 4 people.
- You have no problem with climbing stairs.
- You’re thinking of at least spending Friday and Saturday nights in Creel.
Another option is ideal for you if:
- You prefer a lodging with less noise, more privacy and more secluded areas.
- You want to be able to go back to your hotel even though the party isn’t over.
- You prefer a room just for you and your companion to having to share with more people.
- You prefer not to have to climb stairs to enter your room.
- You don’t want to have to spend Friday night in Creel.

Creel is a destination full of history and tradition 260 km from the capital of Chihuahua. It is one of the 130 “Magic Towns” of Mexico and one of the 5 within the state of Chihuahua. A place that shows the identity and roots of northern Mexico in each of its corners.
Its surroundings abundant in pines and oaks awaken the adventurous spirit to visit this place that is known as the gateway to the Copper Canyon, one of the longest canyon systems in the world, being four times larger in extension and almost twice as deep as the Grand Canyon of Colorado in Arizona, United States.

Why in Creel?
We got to know Hacienda de Don Armando years ago and it is a place that we love. We are excited to have it host our wedding.
What is the recommended way to get to Creel?
Arriving by land or air to the city of Chihuahua and then taking the road in your own or rented car to Creel.
Why that date?
We are looking for a date close to our wedding anniversary (October 20) and that it was also a weekend with a holiday. Monday, September 16, 2024 will be a holiday in Mexico.
How many nights should I plan to stay at Creel?
We suggest that you at least plan to stay 2 nights. On Friday we have a welcome cocktail and on Saturday will be the wedding.
Additionally, on Sunday we will have a wedding after-party at the Hacienda with food, drinks, pool and jacuzzi. If you have the possibility, we highly recommend that you also stay that night.
Monday, September 16, will be a holiday and can be used to travel back to the city of origin. You are free to arrive earlier or leave later to take advantage and do activities in Creel, the Copper Canyon and its surroundings.
How can I RSVP to the wedding?
By reserving your accommodation at Hacienda de Don Armando or at any of the host hotels you can confirm your attendance at the wedding. We have surprises planned for all our guests regardless of the hotel they decide to stay at from the list that we will share with you.
Can I book accommodation now?
We appreciate your interest in booking accommodation and confirming your attendance! Before the end of 2023 we will share details and next steps to make the reservation of accommodation at the Hacienda de Don Armando or at another hotel hosting the event.
How much will the night of lodging cost?
We will inform the detailed rates soon. The night of lodging at Hacienda de Don Armando and other host hotels could be around $2,500 and $3,000 pesos per night.
Who can stay at Hacienda de Don Armando?
The Hacienda has limited capacity, not all guests will be able to stay in it. We are giving preference to stay here for our family and closest friends. We ask you to confirm and book as soon as possible, if you want to stay there, as soon as we send you the complete information.
It is important to consider that to stay at the Hacienda the room for 4 people must be fully occupied and at least plan to stay there on Friday and Saturday nights.
Will I be able to attend the welcome cocktail and wedding after-party even if I am not staying at Hacienda?
Of course. Hacienda will be open to all our wedding attendees for all events from September 13 to 15, 2024.
¿Es seguro llevar niños y bebés al evento?
Entendemos que pueda ser complicado para algunos, pero hemos restringido la participación de niños pequeños durante el evento por motivos logísticos y de seguridad de todos.
La infraestructura de Hacienda no está pensada para niños pequeños ni bebés durante el fin de semana del evento.
Agradecemos enormemente tu comprensión en este sentido.
Can I bring an additional companion or guest to the wedding?
Due to issues of space, capacity and comfort at the Hacienda we cannot have additional attendees to the event.
We have put together a municiously planned guest list. We will appreciate your prompt confirmation when the time is right and your understanding of only being able to receive people who are formally invited.
